15A- Figuring out Buyer Behavior No. 2

Person 1- She told me the way she picks has to do with a combination between price and quality. If the website is cheap and terrible coded, she won’t want it, but if it’s really good but it cost hundreds of thousands, she cant afford it. A nice mix would be perfect for her. She also likes the customer experience being in a physical store.

Person 2- Subject 2 explains that quality matters the most within reason. His business focuses mostly on customer service and he is very strict on keeping a quality product. He is a young and he enjoy the electronic virtual shopping experience. He says he knows he has the right purchase if it satisfies his need at a good price

Person 3- Person three is an older gentleman that likes a good quality product. Price is a concern but only if he is getting ripped off. He likes physically being in a store and being helped with staff on the product. He thinks he bought the right product if it is good quality. Again he told me multiple times that he didn’t like or trust the digital shopping experience and he didn’t like customer service over the computer.

At the end of these interviews I gained a wide array of knowledge on the buying process and what goes through a customer’s head. This will help me develop a game plan and to help tweak my product and services. Overall it was amazing and great to have these interviews for my future.

  1. Hey Zachary, I can see you probably learned a great deal about your buyers' behavior from this assignment. After reading your interviews, it seems that these buyers really believe in a quality product and that seems to be the main take away from your interviews. Also, I feel that your interviews have diversity and are with different types of people which is a great way to figure out a good demographic for your product. Good thing you learned a lot about what goes through a buyer's head and good thing this will help you further develop your product!

  2. Zach,

It was very interesting reading your discussion post and what all these people commented on. I would definitely have to agree with person 3. I have to agree that although I am on a college budget, quality overall is what I look for. I also agree in the fact that I do not trust online shopping or customer service. I like in person stores and actually seeing the product and talking to the sales representatives. Great post, very interesting.
